SMORE - S"MORES - We want S'MORES!
Wow everyone loves smores at our house! We try all kinds of them. I saw some cute ideas on Pinterest and thought I would elaborate on some cute gift giving with SMORES in mind.
At the photo on the left - I used 2x10 cello bags and filled them with a graham cracker (broke in half) and then one of the new FLAT marshmallows - available at Walmart or grocery stores and then a snack size Hershey bar. I then made adorable thank you hang tags and personalized them with:
"Take home SMORE Party Fun! - these are adorable and inexpensive to make for take home party favors. And look below for cute ideas for Wedding favors, birthday and party favors. The Bags and thank you tags are available in my shop at GREAT low prices!

Come to my Zibbet shop to check out these adorable new ideas. I just LOVE a cute KORKER hairbow in my little ones hair. I designed a cute korker bow that attaches to an equally adorable cupcake topper (and some with birthday girls name and age) and they look like a cute presents bow or I just love to call them SPRINKLES - they are easy to take off after your guest has consumed her treasured cupcake and what a better take home gift! I used them at Sky's last party and they were a HUGE hit!

CROWD Photos - A great summer project!
Well we just took the kids to a quick extended weekend in Eureka Springs, AR. We rented a lake home and did a bunch of fun water activities. On the way there we stopped at LAMBERTS CAFE - home of the "Throwed Rolls" - great place to stop by - its great fun! At Lamberts they had a great idea on the wall, and I thought about how I could adapt it a little and make it a fun, summer project. We call it the CROWD photos. That is what it turns out to look like. If you take a bunch of your old photos - especially the ones that "not everyone looks great in" and cut the people out - a little harder for the little ones - but, they had a great time doing it ! Then, layer them on top of each other in your frame and when you get them all together, it looks like a big photo of a crowd. The kids loved it and when it was all finished, they loved looking at old pics of themselves. We made one of the family over the years and then we made another one of family and friends... through
the years. It brought up many stores of: "Who is that person in the picture with you mom?" It was fun and I think
we will make many more!

I just love Korker bows ! - check the site on how to make these korker ribbons - yourself - it is very simple. I make bows, decorate flip flops and so much more. Check out the photos above on how I use a set of piggy tail bows (on alligator clips) in her hair or on her shoes - she loves to dress up everything!
"SPRINKLES"
Adorable Korker Bows - Cupcake toppers
When Sky had her last minute Birthday Party, she wanted to go a local Cookie Shop and bake cookies. So, I thought I would give each girl a little apron and I made a personalized flower hairclip for each guest. I attached it to the apron at first as a name tag - but, thought it was a great little way to add a very useful take home gift. All the girls had them in their hair at school the next week. They loved them. It was such a bigger hit than a little candy goody bag that they just lost or threw away. I then thought what a cute way to design a Korker Bow - that looks like fun spinkles
and adapt them be a cupcake topper :)
I added a topper with a personalized name and age to the group. They are adorable.

Easy to make Designer FLIP FLOPS
I wanted to show how you could make a great gift for your kiddos or a great birthday gift! I used a pair of flipflops from the dollar store - but, I normally use ones from Old Navy and such - they are better quality - but, my daughter has worn a dollar store pair for more than a year - so, if you want to keep costs down - they are perfect!
The photos show step by step - the process. You start with korker curled ribbons (which I show how to make on the site too :)
1. cut the curling ribbons into your sizes that you prefer for the flops. Cut them shorter for little feet. I tie them together and you can use string or ribbon.
2. put hot glue across the top of the toe part of flip flop.
3. add your ribbons on the glue
4. Use another coordinating ribbon and glue around the grouping of ribbons to secure and attach the ribbons.
5. You can use a lighter wand and quickly seal the ends of ribbons to prevent fraying
Enjoy!

Here is the goodies that I made for Sky's class - a group of 27 kiddos. They were made for under $10.
Krazy straws and the smaller size icy pops that the Dollar store have in groups of 10 to a box. Be careful when pulling them apart - they can make a MESS! - Tie it all together with a cute hang tag. If you would like the template to my hand designed tags - just let me know !

As I was Sky's room mother and the end of the year was here... I thought of what exactly I wanted to create for the end of year little gift to hand out at school. Sky has a large class size of 27 - so, I wanted to keep costs down per item. As I walked around the dollar store - I wanted to figure out many things to make and give - and not just at end of the year time - but, I could use them as thank you gifts, appreciation gifts, bday gifts and holidays as well. There are ways to use inexpensive items from the Dollar store and the spot bins at Target - and not let them appear CHEAP - but, instead just Adorable. Everything in this group of little gifts are all inexpensive items. Let your imagination go and ideas will come!
I Love the KRAZY and KOOL summer items - use Krazy straws somewhere in the package and there are tons of ideas for KOOL itmes - koolaid, ice pops, kool aid drinks - ideas endless.
Use the DIG you items and put little candies or trinkets in the packaging.
These items are great for school parties or bday take home gifts :)

These adorable little picture frames are so cute and so easy. I am giving the teacher ones as Year end gifts. Find a quote or poem that you love - or even a personalized sign. Buy your frame - print your quote on scrapbook paper or cardstock (for a fancier look) - add in the frame and decorate with ribbons - I hot glued my ribbons in spots to keep from slipping. cute gift or décor
