SMORES DIP
I saw a version of this addicting dip on PINTEREST - and thought I would like to change it up a bit.
I made the original version in one pan and I made a peanut butter version in the other.
We all LOVED the peanut butter version best!
Adapt your recipe to how large of a serving you would like.
I melted chocolate chips and a 2 T. milk and some mini marshmallows on the stove.
I put the melted mixture in the baking dish and added mini marshmallows on top.
I placed in the oven on broil for a few short minutes - till marshmallows were browned and then dip away!

1/4 c. Balsamic dressing
1/4 - 1/2 cup brown sugar
I mixed all the above ingredients and poured over the chicken and cooked for 4-6 hours on low heat. It pulled apart so easily and was ready to go !

Very- Berry Shortcake
The girls wanted a little treat this afternoon, so we decided to make a different kind of berry shortcake.
I really like the kids to have as much fruit as possible, so adding in blueberries to a sweet treat is an easy fix.
I just used store bought pound cake for this one.
I took several strawberries and used my trusty magic bullet and added a little milk and some whipped cream to it and made a quick and easy - creamy sauce. Top with berries and whip cream - different and delicious!

Strawberry-Peach Smoothie
Boy... were these delicious! I had bought fresh peaches and peach yogurt the night before, because I wanted to make fresh PEACH smoothies. But, as I opened the frig in the morning... my husband had already ate the yogurt. So, I had to improvise. We did have Strawberry yogurt - so that would have to do.
I thought we would see how the combo would taste.
I used fresh strawberries and peaches (althought frozen would work fine as well)
2 tsp. sugar
a little bit of milk
several scoops of vanilla ice cream
a handful of ice cubes
1 or 2 - single servings of strawberry or peach yogurt - or both :)
mix in your blender and top with whipped cream - AWESOME!

Strawberry Lemonade - My family cant get enough of Strawberry Lemonade. We make it at almost every party and we never have enough. This time. I bought star shaped ice trays and made the ice with the lemonade and added strawberry fruit in the ice - so, when the ice melts - it is still lemonade and not watery. *Check my recipes for Strawberry Lemonade.
Sparkling Moscato : Lemon-Berry Splash

At our 4th of July party - me and the kids made some little goodies that tasted wonderful. They were super easy and quick. We dipped some in white chocolate and some in milk chocolate.
You can use several different kinds of pretzels and you can also change the sprinkles to adapt to any holiday or event.
between 2 kinds of pretzels, we made a easy peanut butter mixture. It made ALOT. You may want to make the recipe smaller or larger, depending on your event.
Peanut Butter Mixture:
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon butter
1/2 cup - powdered sugar
1/3 cup - brown sugar
Mix ingredients together. Use a small amount and sandwich them together. I then put them in the refrigerator for about an hour to make them easier to deal with when dipping.

Well its not so much of a recipe - but, more of a great and easy way to spruce up a gathering. I cut out the inside of half of a watermelon (and pick the end that sits easier and straighter. and either melon ball the watermelon - or as in the photo - I cubed the melons. It is a cute way to serve your melons !
Strawberry Lemonade - My specialty!
Our whole family and anyone who stops by - LOVES our Strawberry Lemonade. It is even better than O'charleys and
it's Way Less Expensive if you make it yourself!
Make yourself a pitcher of your favorite Lemonade. Use some of the lemonade with some sugar to your taste and clean and cut up strawberries. Put all the ingredients together and mix. Add that to your lemonade. Cut up strawberries in the lemonade pitcher for garnish.
We often make ice pops with the lemonade. * Add some ginger-ale in too for a little bubbly fun ! They really enjoy it!

Strawberry PoppySeed Salad
Just as good as the Panera Summer Salad
this is a very easy and quick salad to make and is perfect for Summer or warm days. It is very refreshing and the perfect mix of sweet and sassy.
Mix a good sping mix and baby spinach. Clean and slice thinly fresh strawberries. Add Almonds for a little crunch. If you will be using the whole salad - go ahead and mix the Poppyseed dressing throughout the salad. If you will be using more of it at a later time - only add dressing on each bowl full.
You can purchase Panera Poppyseed dressing at Target too!

Meatball Subs
When I make Meatball Subs for the kids, they always want two! The photo doesn't do it justice - but, they are FAB! Here's my recipe:
1- Cook meatballs as directed. - Usually around 10 - 15 minutes in oven.
2- While they are cooking - I assemble the sauce. And, these meatballs are awesome in a crock pot at all parties - believe me - you will get multiple requests for the recipe! The sauce is a bottle of Chili sauce and grape jelly ... YES - grape jelly. Depending on the jar size - if you have the squeeze bottle, use about 1/2. cook on low and mix - when the meatballs are finished, add them to the sauce. Simmer for at least 15 minutes. Serve on a hoagie with shredded cheese of your choice or serve as appetizers !

Chocolate Looovers Brownies
These brownies are by far the most gooeyist and chocolatey brownies ever - ice cream is perfect to go along with it.
I used a regular 9x13 box mix for the brownie recipe.
There are new Chocolate Brownie Marshmallows and they are flat. Grab those at the grocery store and I also added some rolos throughout the mix - in photo 2. They may not of been the most beautiful brownies to look at - but, boy were they wonderful! I added some chocolate icing to part of the brownies.
